What a beautiful issue! We used to ear at Nyes many years ago, after dining we'd head to the piano bar. We went on a Viking ocean cruise. Venice to Athens. We felt like royalty and the food was amazing! Love your recipes. I had a plethora of tomatoes this year. Your tomato pie recipe is sooo yummy.
Hey Paul! Another fantastic issue in the books. Just wanted to follow up on the bit about fire extinguishers; they’re so important to maintain regularly! I did the Edmond citizens fire academy years ago and they taught us to turn the extinguishers upside down and gently tap the bottom of them with a rubber mallet to help prevent the contents from settling. When you turn it right side up, you’ll see the little needle go back a bit further into the green portion of the gauge and extend the life of the extinguisher. You might check with your local fire department about it. Also, those fire blankets are fantastic for kitchen and grill fires!
I love your monthly magazine, September issue brings back memories with the Nye’s over 50 years ago the great prime rib steak and the beautiful piano music. I attended High School with Sharon Nye

At the Twins game — Sue is playing the organ, not the piano. 🎹🎹 🙂
You are correct-I don’t know why I typed piano🤷🏻♂️
Thank you for mentioning Nyes. I play Thursday Friday Saturday from 8 to 1:30. Come and sing with me. It's fun!
